When we saw the 600RR in the line-up for 2024 at Eicma we were super happy. The middleweight CBR was a super tough agile and reliable machinde that gained lots of fans. For this year Honda made it even better and we had a change to ride it at the International Press Launch in Portimao.

    How do you do this technically besides training and experience? Do you dump the clutch along some acceleration or do you release the clutch slowly. When and how to turn, where do you put your balance?

    service and parts a way cheaper and easier to service on a Xmax. Vespa is a good city bike, but those small wheels are pointless other than in the city.

    I’ve a Speed Triple 1200 RS in my garage. Neutral is a myth :D It gets better after some miles but it’s still not easy to get in neutral. From those 3 other bikes the S1000R is the only one I would also consider.

    I rode both in the last week and I loved the Honda, not the looks but a bike were everything works well together, I didn't feel that with the suzuki, fabulous engine but thought the suspension was stiffer for my weight 65kg, i felt it had less feedback in the bends, I didn't feel any love for it where the Honda I wanted one straight away, it's coming next week😊

    My issues, range and availability of charging. I think the 11KW has a range of around 95km, so in reality maybe 70. Great if you're just using it to commute to work and back, but at £9,330 it's a bit steep. You could get a Honda Monkey for half that price and on a full tank (5.7 litres) you're looking in excess of 220km. Charging an 11kw battery at home is about 24p, so £2.64 to charge (at home) 3p per km. Monkey is about £1.46 for litre or £8.32 for 220km, which is about 3.8p per km. Monkey is a bit more expensive to run but you don't have any range anxiety.

    Sorry, that wasn't very helpful. You made no mention about how you activate/deactivate the system. Can it be done on the go or not? Do you have to be at a standstill? Do you have to go into the menus to do this? With respect, you just seemed concerned with how easy the bike was to ride in traffic. Nothing more. I appreciate this was just an overview but I feel the only way to fully understand this system is to actually test ride the bike's themselves.

      You cant deactivate the "system". It can be done on the go. You dont need to be at a standstill. No. Just think of the e-clutch as another hand of you that just automates pressing the clutch.

    The Guzzi is a clear winner for me having tested both. It has better protection, more original, and more character. The BMW is a great bike to go from A to B but has less soul in my opinion.

    全体でみればすばらしい。技術面でいえば、もっと下にバッテリーを配置できたろうと思った。その場合、重心をより下にできて安定できたのになあ。乗り降りのしにくさと合わせて、デザインの犠牲になっている。あと、スタート時の直進安定性が不足している。日本ではアクセサリー(オプション)の入荷が遅れている。コンフォートシートとラゲッジラックが、BMW による想定以上に人気らしい、というかハイライン パッケージでは標準装備にすればよかった(スマホホルダーなんか私は、いらない。自賠責入れくらいほしい)。

    Are the Showa suspensions better for road use only? Which ones did you prefer for road? Can the the gold Showa be adjusted to be stiffer, more similar to the stock ones?

      It offers a wider range of adjustments and more precision. I have to say the Showa kicks ass. The stock version is not that bad.

      @indrockz92 there you go again. Honda is different even among japanese producers. For instance, there is a broad market that doesn't prefer ride by wire and riding modes, especially when added in a pointless manner. They tend to stay clear of the "gimmick" driven selling points and have a more pertinent and practical approach to their designs. Hence, the cable throttle in the CB650R, which I believe is a great choice for this type of bike.

    This is the reason I got a vstrom 800de and if I had more money I'd also buy the other 2 bikes unfortunately I can only buy one for now the de800 keeps amazing me more every time I ride it and once iv set it up for Australian adventures I'm going to be pretty impressed with it

    How does the bike feel riding in town without ever touching the clutch at like 15-20 km/h? I mean it's gonna jerk back and forth like a horse riding in 1st gear when you open and close the throttle a lot right?

    Moto Guzzi retained their soul despite modernizing it. BMW lost its soul by replacing the far superior Tele-lever suspension with the inherently inferior(but less costly) telescopic forks on the R & RS. Trying to cure brake-dive and bump-steer with trendy and costly to repair GIZMOtronics in telescopic forks is like trying to cure Spina bifida with Asperin and Ben-Gay.
